Bacterial vaginosis produces an abnormal vaginal discharge that is milky white or grayish in color accompanied by a bad smelling vagina. The smell may be fishy in nature or musty as some women will describe it.
This bad vagina smell may be more pronounced after sexual intercourse or after washing the vagina with soap. This as mentioned previously, encourages bacterial growth of the wrong kind of bacteria are both causes of making the vaginal PH more alkaline.
